Testing new settings but while I’m at it… this is Bethesda Lane, in the heart of Downtown Bethesda…more about this promenade as soon as I finish…ehhhh…”fine-tuning”.
This Friday marks the last Bethesda Art Walk of 2008. On the second Friday of every month, 13 galleries and studios open their door from 6 – 9pm to welcome visitors. We are extremely fortunate in Bethesda to have such a fine inventory of artwork – featuring local as well as national and even international offerings. There are paintings, photographs, sculpture and a variety of mixed media.
The 13 galleries – although scattered throughout downtown Bethesda — are within walking distance and it’s a fun time to enjoy the holiday decorations as you stroll through the streets. Remember that there is also the free Bethesda Circulator (with even more stops now!) that can offer an easy way to get to your next stop if you need a rest.
